Placement Process at PAYTM


The final year of college can be a daunting time for students as they prepare to enter the job market. This is especially true for students pursuing technical degrees, where the competition for jobs can be intense. To help students prepare for their final year placements, GirlScript Pune, a student club dedicated to promoting technical education and professional development among young women, recently organized a placement experience session with placed alumni for Paytm placement. The event was conducted online on 16th October 2021 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and was specifically designed for the students of MITAOE Pune. The event was aimed at providing the students with insights into the recruitment process and interview experience at Paytm, one of the leading companies in the technology and finance space.

The event started with an introduction from the President of GirlScript Pune, who welcomed the alumni and the students and spoke about the importance of preparing for placements. She emphasized the need for students to be aware of the latest trends in the industry and to work on their technical and soft skills to stand out in the competitive job market. The alumni who had been placed at Paytm were then introduced and they shared their experiences of the recruitment process and the interview rounds. They spoke about the skills and qualities that the company looks for in candidates and how students can prepare for the recruitment process.

The alumni also shared their personal experiences of working at Paytm, highlighting the company's culture, work environment, and opportunities for growth. They spoke about the various projects they had worked on and the impact they had made, giving the students a glimpse of the exciting and challenging work they could expect if they were to join the company. The session was then followed by a Q&A round, where the students had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications on any doubts they had. The alumni patiently answered all the questions and shared their personal tips and strategies for success in the recruitment process.

The event was a great success and the students found it to be very informative and useful. They appreciated the insights and tips provided by the alumni and felt more confident about their chances of success in the placement process. The alumni also expressed their satisfaction with the event, saying that they were happy to be able to share their experiences and insights with the next generation of students. The success of the event can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the GirlScript Pune team, who had put in a lot of effort to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
